The Millionaire Secret.
Is there a millionaire secret that will make us all millionaires? (If we want to do something about it). Well maybe there is or maybe there isn’t. Do we think that all those millionaires out there became so because they had a secret millionaire way of getting there?
I don’t think so. I think they worked at it, some probably got there easily and some just had to work a bit harder.
So is there really a millionaire secret? Maybe.
Lets look at it this way. If you want to eat an elephant how would you do it and how long would it take? An elephant is a big thing to eat so you can only eat it a bit at a time. This would take you a long time to eat an elephant.
Now lets get back to the millionaires and their supposedly millionaire secret. Most millionaires say that they did it with their own effort and hard work. What a lot of rubbish.
Now if we take for example a seller of hotdogs. Here is our potential millionaire pedaling his/her hotdog cart to the corner to sell hotdogs. If he/she stuck at that would he/she become a millionaire? No he/she wouldn’t. The only way he/she could is buy buying more hotdog carts and spreading them through-out the city and then the nation.
That’s pretty hard to do when there is only one of you.
Let’s get back to the elephant. How do you eat a elephant quicker. Why by inviting all your friends, neighbors, finding new friends to help you to eat it. The more you get to help the quicker the elephant will get eaten.
So off the potential millionaire goes and solicits others to join, opening up more and more hotdog stands (or carts). He/she says to them, “I will provide you with everything you need to run your hotdog business, you just pay me a fee for doing so and buy all your ongoing supplies from me”. What’s more if you bring in more people into this I will pay you a commission for everyone you do.
So the franchise business was born. But this is not about franchising this was all about the possibility of there being a millionaire secret.
It also makes rubbish that a person becomes a millionaire just by his or her own efforts. If there was no-one taking up the hotdog franchises and making the effort and putting in the work then the hopeful millionaire would never become one.
But the main thing is, is that the hopeful millionaire had the idea. He/she also was shrewd because he/she also had the smarts to involve the franchisees in helping to grow the business with the potential of them becoming millionaires.
So all of you people working for someone who is a millionaire and who says I did this all by myself, think again. If you were not working your butts off for that person that person would never become a millionaire. You are in effect working and putting in effort to keep that person a millionaire. What do you get in return? You are getting a pay packet and are told that you are lucky to have a job and by the way I am going to squeeze that pay packet because I want more money coming to me. Shouldn’t really be said, “I am lucky you are working for me because if no-one did I would not be a millionaire.
Anyway enough of that. I believe in capitalism, but in fair capitalism. The recent world financial problems were not brought about because of capitalism it was because of the misuse of capitalism. There are always people around who will try and rort a good system.
So what has all this got to do with there being a millionaire secret? Well read the above again you may see the seeds of what the secret may be.
Lets soldier on.
There are basically three parts to the secret of becoming a millionaire. You start something, you get help to grow that something and then you help that help to grow their something.
Now that is really clear isn’t it? But look, isn’t that exactly what the hotdog vendor did? He first bought the hotdog cart, then got help to expand the number of carts and then helped the help to expand their business and rewarded them for it.
Great! Here enters the internet. The internet is the biggest equalizer the world has ever seen for people wanting to start earning money and potentially become millionaires. Why? Because it is cheap to start a business on the internet.
You do not need products, you do not have to warehouse products you do not even, in a lot of cases, have to purchase the products for on selling. There are also a lot of funky schemes out their that you can enter at a small fee and grow a business on top of a business.
Unfortunately the internet has brought about the “quick road to riches” syndrome. There are a plethora of opportunities that virtually say you can become a millionaire in 30 days. Now be realistic people. If this was the case we would all be millionaires. They usually tag on the comment “Without Effort”. Now even the original hotdog vendor had to put in effort and he/she has to continue putting in effort to become a millionaire.
All the Internet does is make it easier for you and I to get to millionaire status. After all you do not need 100 thousand bucks to get started.
I earn on the internet and though I have some ways to go to get to be a millionaire my expenditure to earn what I am currently is very low.
Nothing is free and you can’t get anywhere without a bit of effort and of course help from all the internet friends you find.
I currently am in three “opportunities” I also run 15 blogs and websites which costs me $12 dollars a month for hosting plus $30 year for domain names. The opportunities I pay one time fees (the only ones anyone should be in) I enjoy running them as they have the potential of making me a millionaire.
The websites and blogs are my own efforts the opportunities are my own efforts and with the efforts of other people helping me. Of course I put in some effort in helping others. It is not a one way street.
So if you need to know what the real “millionaire secret” is just read that last sentence again.
